Within the framework of the project, the evening-portrait from the series "Famous countrymen", dedicated to Panteleimon Ladan, a native of Kuschevskaya, was held in the regional House of Culture.
He did a lot for the country's agriculture, worked for several years as the rector of the Don Agricultural Institute, brought up two rectors of the Don State Agrarian University, a whole pleiad of followers. Among them is Professor Nikolay Zelenskii. Under the direction of Panteleimon Ladan 15 doctoral and 55 candidate dissertations were defended.
During the meeting, the head of the regional Council of Veterans Alexey Ananich, the Honorary Citizen of the Kuschevskiy district Vladimir Khanbekov, the member of the Writers' Union of Russia, the author of the project of books series "The Pride of Russia" G.V. Gubanov, with heartfelt warmth and sincerity remembered Panteleimon Ladan.
At the end of the event, Nikolay Zelenskii, in memory of the meeting, presented the participants books about the history of the Don State Agrarian University.
